Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Utility Clerk to join our team. Hours are flexible, 10 to 20 per week, and must be performed at the office.
Duties to include, but are not limited, to the following:
- To be the main contact for all customers and vendors of Forest Junction Utilities (FJU)
- Learn our accounting software program
- Accurately prepare and mail quarterly billing statements
- Accurately post payments
- Attend and record minutes of all FJU meeting
- Monitor and respond daily to messages on office answering machine
- Prepare reports as required by the State of Wisconsin or other agencies
- Issue permits as needed
- Pickup and process mail
- Meet customers or vendors at the office as needed
- Various other duties as assigned by FJU Commissioners
Requirements:
- Experienced with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, customers, and vendors
