The Box Office -Event Assistant is responsible for coordinating day of show staff and maintain all box office policies and procedures. This role is highly visible and interacts with ticketing staff, GM, talent bookers, marketing, venue guests, ticketing providers, artist, record labels, fan clubs, and tour managers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Processing of ticket orders via internet, phone, email, and fax.
· Interact positively and communicate effectively internally with ticketing staff, GM, talent bookers, marketing, venue guests, ticketing providers, artist, record labels, fan clubs, and tour managers.
· Create, complete, and manage accurate and timely reports, including daily ticket counts as needed.
· Oversee and monitor communication between all critical parties to ensure accurate completion of ticket counts, event builds, inventory management, will call, guest list, and all other Box Office processes leading up to the actual event.
· Assist in box office financial reporting, maintaining accurate ticket reports and event reconciliation reports
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Box Office Manager or other management.
Required Skills And Abilities
· Skilled in guest relations, phone etiquette, and cash handling in a multi-tasking environment
· Attention to details, specifically regarding event listing applications
· Entry level knowledge of basic computer operations, web-based applications and Point of Sales systems
· Candidate must be able to successfully handle multiple priorities in sometimes high stress situations
· Position requires the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as being able to perform in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
Education And Experience
· Prior Ticketmaster HOST and Archtics experience is preferred
