Fraud Investigation Officer investigates fraudulent/illegal activities perpetrated by customers or employees. Designs and implements programs to prevent such activities and to recover any incurred losses. Being a Fraud Investigation Officer works with local, state and federal authorities with matters relating to fraudulent/illegal activities. Require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Fraud Investigation Officer typically reports to a manager. To be a Fraud Investigation Officer typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or potential threats.
- Respond promptly to any incidents, emergencies, or alarms and take appropriate action.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions when needed.
- Enforce access control procedures to ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
- Conduct thorough investigations of any security breaches, accidents, or incidents and complete detailed reports.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred, not needed.
- TN Unarmed or Armed License a big plus.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and conflict management.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment.
