The Finance Officer is responsible for the company’s financial statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, and various special analyses.
Job Duties include:

Drive the company’s financial plan

Ensure that cash flow is appropriate for the organizations operations

Prepare current monthly financial statements based on US GAAP and any special forecasting or projections as requested. Review financial reports for accuracy and completion and create new financial models and budgets for new projects within company or related party per request of CEO and forecasting reports

Run financial reports, prepares necessary journal entries to post data into Sage Intact

Set up and oversee the company’s IT needs, ensuring company is within all compliance standards and managing any new requests and projects needed

Work with directors and CEO to develop annual budgets. Develop and maintain constant review and comparison of actual vs budget to identify financial shortfalls or underperforming departments.

Provide supervision to the Finance Department

Works closely with the CEO and other executive leaders and directors to ensure needs are being met in regards to finances, budgets, operational, etc.

Prepared monthly financial package that includes full reporting package for monthly activity – includes bank recon, account reconciliations, special items noted during the month, etc. for CEO review and approval.
Education and Experience Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting or related business area

3 years of post-degree professional experience.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office- MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Education and Experience Preferred:

Prefer a Master’s Degree in related field.

At least 4 years’ experience in clinical services, primary and behavioral health care integration, organizational change processes, and consultation and training development/implementation.

A Caring Alternative, LLC is CABHA certified and a Trauma Informed Agency. We provide an array of services to Alexander, Buncombe, Burke, Catawba, Caldwell, Iredell, McDowell, and Mitchell counties which consist of Assertive Community Treatment Team, Community Support Team, Day Treatment, Integrated Care, Intensive In-Home, Medication Management, Outpatient Therapy, and Therapeutic Foster Care.
