Fraud Prevention Associate researches and analyzes potential customer fraud cases to identify and prevent future fraud. Reviews and responds to suspected fraudulent service requests and identifies fraudulent transactions using various research methods. Being a Fraud Prevention Associate follows standard procedures to document a loss and prepares a summary and reconciliation. Communicates the status and resolution of the incident to the customer and/or bank. Additionally, Fraud Prevention Associate identifies areas that need increased security procedures or software to protect customer accounts. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. The Loss Prevention Site Lead (LPSL) is a key leadership position within the Amazon Loss Prevention Team. The LPSL leads the effort to efficiently, and effectively, provide security services and asset protection (lives, buildings, equipment, inventory, data, & intellectual property) in a designated area of responsibility.

A day in the life
This role can be a single site role, at a large FC, or a multi-site role supporting multiple locations. The LP Site Lead conducts and executes investigations of internal and external theft and fraud and conducts interviews as needed.
This team member will Identify, promote, and implement security best practices in designated site(s) as well as recruit, hire, develop and retain candidates who raise the performance bar for roles in a specific site.
This role directly assists with staffing open LP positions in the network by participating in phone screens and non-exempt level hiring PODS.
Serve as SME for physical security, and inventory controls, processes, and technology in designated site(s). Provides regular feedback and communication to ensure team members understand, align performance and actions with and can clearly articulate the vision and values of the department.
Coordinate data collection; through database polling or data entry from site(s) and conduct analysis to generate strategic response.
The LP Site Lead will develop business cases for the site(s) which receive the required approval, financial and technical resources, and the support of appropriate management to enact desired change.
This role will serve as SME for physical security, and inventory controls, processes, and technology in designated site(s).
