We are needing 3pm-11pm
Must be available to work on weekdays and weekends
JOB OVERVIEW:
Provide excellent customer service at all times, be efficient, attentive and friendly from reservation to checkout.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
Inform guests about the hotel features/benefits and/or as per required brand standards
Handle hotel phone system. Transferring calls to appropriate room/department while maintaining safety
and security standards. Answer phone in a prompt and courteous manner.
Take, modify guestroom reservations. Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel
services and room location.
Deal with inquiries, requests and complaints from guests‐Communicate with appropriate departments.
Perform cashier duties‐post cash and other miscellaneous charges.
Know hotel emergency procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of Front Office area.
Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures
including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, preparing deposit.
Follow up with guests to ensure their request or problem has been met to their satisfaction.
Follow all policies and procedures as dictated by the brand and Corporate Office.
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow‐up.
Promote team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other
departments.
Perform other duties as assigned including guest room tours, special requests, etc.
Frequently standing up behind the desk and front office areas
Problem solving, reasoning, motivating and training abilities are often used.
May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
