FRONT DESK CLERK interacts with the customer to ensure that guest check-in, check-out, and billing are carried out efficiently. Answers questions about the facility's policies and services. Being a FRONT DESK CLERK makes advance reservations and handles special requests. Issues invoices and collects room fees. Additionally, FRONT DESK CLERK handles or appropriately escalates customer service issues. Performs administrative duties such as answering phones, cleaning work space, and assisting managers and supervisors as needed. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The FRONT DESK CLERK works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Election reporters are needed to relay results from the Presidential Primary elections on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024. Reporter must arrive at a designated election office by 6:45PM and update the results as they come in. Selected applicants will be messaged through the Indeed email and will be directed to email our Director of Elections for online training.
NOTE: All reporters are expected to follow state, county, and local rules regarding entry to public buildings. It will be the duty of the reporter to be aware of these rules, particularly regarding COVID-19.Skills
- Timeliness: the goal of Decision Desk HQ is to be the first outlet to report results.
- Attention to detail: reporters must be able to enter results accurately.
Requirements
- Must have a smartphone.
- Must have or be willing to install the Discord app (https://www.discord.com)
- Must be able to arrive at a designated location 15 minutes before polls close.
- Must pass a skills assessment (delivered by Indeed)
- Reporters will undergo a 15 minute online review/training, scheduled with Director of Elections
Note: this is for March 12th, 2024. There will be opportunities for work in future elections, including 2024. Pay of $125 is for each evening of work, running 6:45pm until approximately 1045pm. Payment is made through direct deposit after verification of the work completed via Bill.com.
