Position: Front Desk Clerk

Reports to: Director of HR & Agency Operations
FLSA: Non-Exempt
FT/PT: Hourly | 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (30 Minute Lunch)
Purpose & General Description of the Position: Persons in this position carry out a variety of activities that support the program services of the agency. The activities include organizing, recording, reporting, and filing information from various sources.
Minimum Requirements:-
Associates Degree or equivalent college level in studies in office/ business management or human resources; OR 2 to 5 years clerical experience as affront desk clerk, administrative assistant, secretary, or business assistant.

Meet State "Good Moral Character" guidelines.

Experience managing multi-line telephone system.
Required Skills & Abilities:-
Current working knowledge of computers and other office equipment. Current working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Access software. Experience in social work in environment helpful.

routinely and items weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally. -

Essential Skills & Duties:-
Responsible for front desk reception duties including but not limited to routing all telephone calls, processing incoming and outgoing mail, greeting all incoming visitors, monitoring office supply levels, and distributing applications as requested.

Responsible for copying and maintaining required forms and supplies as needed.

Attending Departmental and agency wide meetings on behalf of the Human Resources Department.

Maintaining all annual training requirements.

Participating in all required team and staff meetings, including individual supervision and other development opportunities.

Operating and Maintaining employee badge machine.

Effectively and professionally represent the Agency to the general public, visitors, guests and volunteers.

Provides support and assistance to various agency programs including management, development, and marketing as needed.

Assisting the Finance Department with general bookkeeping, recording of deposits, and other related tasks.

Responsible for teaching, modeling, practicing, supporting and articulating the agency's Circle of Courage Strength Based Program philosophy.

Maintaining Key Kiosk and operating associated computer system.
