FRONT DESK CLERK interacts with the customer to ensure that guest check-in, check-out, and billing are carried out efficiently. Answers questions about the facility's policies and services. Being a FRONT DESK CLERK makes advance reservations and handles special requests. Issues invoices and collects room fees. Additionally, FRONT DESK CLERK handles or appropriately escalates customer service issues. Performs administrative duties such as answering phones, cleaning work space, and assisting managers and supervisors as needed. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The FRONT DESK CLERK works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Come join our team! We are a local lumber company seeking responsible, motivated, energetic, and fun people to join us in our Sarasota, Fl. location. Our business is growing and we need reliable people who want and are willing to learn and grow with us. Daily duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
-Greeting customers
-Answer phones
-Creating Bill of Ladings
-Printing orders for fulfillment
-Run shipping quotes/schedule shipments
-Processing shipping claims
-Assist sales staff and managers as needed
-Data entry
-Filing
-Processing customer payments
-Light office cleaning
A working knowledge of NetSuite, Excel, and Google Docs a plus
Normal Job Hours are Monday -- Friday 8:30am -- 5:00pm with alternating Saturdays 8:00am to 12:00
Benefits are available after 90 days which include medical, dental, vision, vacation & sick time.
