FRONT DESK CLERK interacts with the customer to ensure that guest check-in, check-out, and billing are carried out efficiently. Answers questions about the facility's policies and services. Being a FRONT DESK CLERK makes advance reservations and handles special requests. Issues invoices and collects room fees. Additionally, FRONT DESK CLERK handles or appropriately escalates customer service issues. Performs administrative duties such as answering phones, cleaning work space, and assisting managers and supervisors as needed. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The FRONT DESK CLERK works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Front Desk staff are responsible for maintaining a high quality of service to all guests, and potential guests through many experiences such as check-in/ check-out, taking phone calls, making reservations, billing, accommodating customer needs and requests, as well as working closely with maintenance and housekeeping to ensure all guests experience an enjoyable stay.
All applicants must be available to work at least 3 shifts per week and have flexibilty to work weekends, holidays and evenings. (3pm to 10pm)
-experience working in customer service setting required.
-experience working in hotel/hospitality setting preffered.
-proficient computer skills required.
-strong organizational skills and multi tasking abilities.
