DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develops a test plan outlining the scopeobjectives and approach for functional testing of the AWS IL5environment
• Defines test scenarios and usecases based on system requirements user stories and operationalworkflows
• Establishes testing criteria andmetrics to evaluate the performance and functionality of deployedapplications
• Creates detailed test casescovering functional aspects of applications and services hostedwithin the AWS IL5 Cloud SCCA
• Defines testinputs expected outputs and validation criteria for each test caseto ensure thorough test coverage
• Organizes testcases into test suites to facilitate efficient test execution andmanagement
• Executes test cases systematicallyaccording to the test plan documents test results observations andany deviations from expected behavior
• Reportsdefects and issues identified during testing using a standardizeddefect tracking system including severity assessments and detaileddescriptions
• Provides regular progress reportsand status updates to stakeholders highlighting testing milestoneschallenges and potential risks
• Performsregression testing to verify that existing functionality remainsintact following system updates configuration changes orenhancements
• Conducts integration testing tovalidate interactions and interoperability between differentcomponents modules and external dependencies within the AWS IL5environment
• Verifies data exchange mechanismsAPI integrations and communication protocols to ensure seamlessoperation of integrated systems
• Evaluates theperformance and scalability of applications under varying loadconditions assessing response times throughput and resourceutilization
• Identifies performance bottlenecksscalability limitations and optimization opportunities to enhancethe overall performance of deployedapplications
• Collaborates with cybersecurityteams to incorporate security testing into the functional testingprocess including vulnerability assessments penetration testing andsecurity controls validation
• Verifiescompliance with security standards encryption requirements andaccess controls within the AWS IL5 Cloud SCCAenvironment
• Travels approximately 34 days aquarter as required
