Business Development - Role and Responsibilities
- Act as point of contact to “sell” approvals from our underwriting team to sales partners keeping in mind the customer’s needs, competitive landscape, and a thorough understanding of our product and its benefits.
- Facilitate the post-underwriting process and conduct follow-ups via email and phone call with the sales partner with a focus on successful deal conversion.
- Act as point of contact for partners if assistance is required through submission process, resolve any potential conflicts or escalations in day-to-day partner communication with underwriting and customer service teams. Escalate to Director as needed.
- Act as a technical support contact for partners who access our proprietary order management system.
- Assist with customer service calls as needed
- Assist Director of Business Development & Marketing with responses to potential new sales partner inquiries via email and phone call.
- Assist Director of Business Development & Marketing with any additional reporting, projects, or miscellaneous tasks.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma
- At least 2 years of customer service and/or business development experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), CRM Software
- Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Customer Service/Interpersonal skills
- Excellent phone and communication skills with emphasis on written communication
- Strong level of integrity, professionalism, and work ethic
- Ability to pass a background check
