Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our company's supply chain operations.

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of logistics, including transportation, warehouse management, and materials management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Duties: -

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage the transportation of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and carriers to ensure smooth operations
• Oversee the warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment
• Implement and maintain a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and improve accuracy
• Analyse data on transportation costs, delivery times, and inventory levels to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall supply chain performance
• Negotiate contracts with carriers and other service providers to secure favourable terms
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements related to transportation and logistics

Experience: -

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Proficiency in SQL or other data collection tools for analyzing logistics data
• Familiarity with supply chain management principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
• Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to effectively manage a team
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $52,986.99 - $65,000.00 per year
