Additionally, General Maintenance Worker may require a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The General Maintenance Worker works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Maintenance Responsibilities:
· General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
· Gardening and performing landscape duties
· Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
· Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
· Perform minor repairs.
· Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
· Collect and dispose of trash.
· Respond to repair requests quickly and with a professional manner
· Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
· Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
