General Maintenance Worker maintains, services, and conducts minor repairs on buildings and equipment. Performs a variety of semiskilled duties in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, or plastering. Being a General Maintenance Worker assists maintenance engineers and other workers with their tasks. Complies with established safety guidelines and procedures. Additionally, General Maintenance Worker may require a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The General Maintenance Worker works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We have a very busy summer ahead of us and are looking to hire 4 dependable and consistent people to join our lawn maintenance crew full time for the remainder of the season. We do general lawn maintenance for many residential and commercial properties all over Anchorage and Eagle River. Your duties will include raking, mowing, and fertilizing lawns as well as trimming hedges and trees along with any other maintenance the customer requires. We also perform labor such as window cleaning, gutter cleaning, exterior house washing, etc.
A valid driver’s license will qualify you for a position as a Crew Leader which will result in a higher hourly pay rate.
If you join the team and prove that you can stay focused and endure a full day of physical labor, we would love to keep you on throughout the winter as well. During the winter season we specialize in snow removal for residential and commercial properties and your job would shift into either a snow shoveler or plow truck operator.
Crewmember position pay starting at $16.00/hr
Lead Crewmember position pay starting at $18.00/hr
All wages are determined at time of hire based on experience and have room to grow as you continue to work with our company.
