General Maintenance Worker jobs in Batesville, VA

Position Overview:

Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on facility equipment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Candidates must have basic knowledge to repair / maintain small equipment such as vacuum cleaners, sweepers and floor scrubbers, and repair and install sheetrock, prime walls and paint. General knowledge of kitchen equipment, refrigerators, fryers and ice/water machines is desirable but not required.
  

• Candidates must possess or be able to acquire a Department of Defense Top Secret/ SCI Security Clearance.
• Candidates must be well organized, self-motivated with the ability to function independently.
• Candidates must possess the ability to communicate professionally with the customer and the Customer’s team.
• Candidates should have a General knowledge of OSHA Safety Regulations.
• Candidates should have basic computer skills that enables them to access email, perform on-line training, complete time sheets, and document work performance.
• Candidates must be able think through problems to resolution.
• Candidates must work cooperatively with co-workers and accept direction from Lead Workers and Management.
• Candidates must possess the ability to provide input to Lead Workers / Co-workers in an organized, professional manner, in an effort to aid in the successful completion of tasks.
