SUMMARY:
Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment, buildings, and appliances requiring practical skill and knowledge in areas to include but not limited to such as painting, lawn maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years' experience as a general maintenance worker, acquired through training and/or experience under a formal apprenticeship or equivalent. Must have a valid Washington State driver’s license and the capability to obtain and retain an site required clearance as determined by the customer. Ability to use good judgment and common sense when performing job functions, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, ability to be punctual, and possess patience to work under stressful conditions. Ability to identify areas requiring immediate attention and apply comprehensive technical knowledge and practical skill to solve complex problems.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with minimal supervision and guidance. Performs general maintenance as determined by the Team Lead. Participation in Quality Control and Safety Program. Must adhere to the Lockout/Tagout Program. Able to decipher and repair minor electrical problems. Work involves a variety of duties: patching, painting, lawn maintenance, door repair and any other maintenance not requiring a license or certification.
