Being a General Maintenance Worker assists maintenance engineers and other workers with their tasks. Complies with established safety guidelines and procedures. Additionally, General Maintenance Worker may require a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The General Maintenance Worker works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. **Requirements:**
- Previous experience in construction or related field is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment
- Knowledge on concrete forming, plumbing, welding, HVAC techniques.
- Capability to operate heavy equipment safely
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks on the job
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of manual labor in a construction setting
