Restaurant General Managers are responsible for delivering the ultimate customer experience. You will oversee the entire quick-service restaurant operations including financial performance, product preparation and production, inventory, personnel, sales, and marketing while working to ensure that the restaurant is operated within our guidelines. You will lead your team to consistently exceed guest expectations.
Requirements
- Greet customers and provide an enjoyable restaurant experience for all customers.
- P & L responsibility to include forecasting of sales, controllable profit, and making adjustments as business conditions indicate
- Ensures product quality at all times and presents an appearance of cleanliness in the restaurant and the team.
- Manages the hiring and development of restaurant personnel.
- Develops and maintains an acceptable level of sales.
- Manages restaurant cash control by making bank deposits and maintaining an accurate restaurant change fund.
- Reports and controls restaurant inventory through established inventory systems.
- Maintains sufficient stock by ordering, receiving and accounting for all supplies (dry goods, perishables and certain items of equipment).
- Utilizes a preventive maintenance system, ensuring adequate repair of facility and equipment as needed.
- Ensures adequate staffing by scheduling efficiently.
- Maintains and submits daily/weekly/period-ending/special reports as requested.
- Support and follow all safety and security procedures.
- Ensure the proper execution of assigned foodservice programs and procedures.
- Enforce operation of point of sale according to corporate guidelines; maintain proper cash levels. performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Most restaurants are open seven days a week. The Store Cooks are scheduled to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required to ensure the store is adequately staffed. Must be available to work as needed and/or on short notice.
- Must have a reliable source of transportation to/from the Restaurant.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, or other computer programs highly preferred.
