Glazier installs glass in windows, skylights, store fronts, and display cases, or on surfaces such as building fronts, interior walls, ceilings, and tabletops. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Glazier may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Glazier relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Demers Glass, LLC is currently looking for residential glazing technicians. Experienced preferred.
Full time positions - open immediately.
Duties will include but not limited to,
Residential window repairs, replacements and new construction.
Framed and frameless shower doors.
Heavy glass shower doors.
Mirrors.
New screens and re-screen.
Installation of heavy glass (Herculite) type applications.
Must have a valid license with clean record.
Must be fully capable of handling the duties described above and have tools for the trade.
Reliable, dependable, clean presentation, and must be great with people and problem solving.
