The Global Mobility Manager establishes, implements, and maintains policies and practices for assisting employees and their families as they relocate. Manages the employee relocation process, which may include but is not limited to sale of current residence, lease cancellation, home purchase or rental, realtor selection, mortgage assistance, and movement of household goods. Being a Global Mobility Manager approves relocation budgets and plans and the disbursement of funds. Works to minimize relocation costs and disruption of work for the employee and the organization. In addition, Global Mobility Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Global Mobility Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Position Summary:

    The Global Mobility Manager will be responsible for day-to-day administration of relocation/assignment/immigration services.

    Ensure compliance with policies and procedures governing key aspects of global mobility and stay current with developments in these areas.

    Authorize and approve third party vendor services. You will review and approve mobility related allowances, invoices, cross border payments, expense reports, cost estimates and track payments.

    Prepare and approve relocation/assignment letters and related documents and monitor trends in the mobility industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage immigration vendor to provide guidance and direction to Mission Delivery and Talent Management partners.
    • Globally assist with visa/work permits for employees and contractors.
    • Administer the relocation and Immigration operational policies and end-to-end processes and solutions to meet the needs of our diverse employees and missions across the globe.
    • Provide a premium experience for employees (transferees, local hires and short term and long-term assignees), and to business partners across the globe.
    • Provides assistance to international assignees through coordinating, developing, and/or managing taxes, visa coordination, LOU preparation, and benefits coordination. This includes for the entire assignment life cycle (pre-move to repatriation).
    • Coordinates and support with external relocation service providers, where appropriate, to ensure exceptional service and seamless relocation of employees.
    • Work with cross function and overseas TM team on immigration compliance.
    • Collaborates with other departments within the company on overall coordination of the Global Mobility Program (Payroll, Tax, Finance, Accounts Payable, Travel & Logistics)
    • Manage immigration vendor to respond to all applicable inquiries including working with employees regarding collection of time sensitive documents and data for various aspects of the immigration process (Letters of Support, Public Access Files, compliance posting requirements, etc.)

    Qualifications:

    • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed
    • Job-related technical knowledge, including a basic understanding of Global Mobility practices and principles such as compensation, immigration, taxation, relocation, home sales, etc.
    • Experience with managing external Global Mobility vendors (RMCs, tax and immigration providers, etc.)
    • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
    • Ability to accommodate international time zones as required
    • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, and vendors
    • Ability to act independently and attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
    • Authorized to work in the United States.

    Salary & Benefits: The base pay range for this position is $ 92,240 to $115,300. The determination of salaries in this job classification depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant candidate experience, job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills. In addition, we have a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; 403(b) retirement savings plan; paid time off; education reimbursement; student loan paydown and more.
