Golf Superintendent - Assistant assists the Superintendent in the overall maintenance and care of the golf course, including turf/grass management, irrigation, and chemical applications (e.g., fertilizer, pesticides) to ensure quality playing conditions. Supervises personnel and participates in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths. Being a Golf Superintendent - Assistant ensures adherence to golf course maintenance budget and capital plans. May serve in the Superintendent's capacity during absence. Additionally, Golf Superintendent - Assistant may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a golf course superintendent. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Starting Salary 60,000 DOE
Hours of Operation: M-F 6 AM – 3 PM Saturday/Sunday 6 AM – work completed (Salary based on a 45-hr. work week)

Reports directly to Golf Course Superintendent. Under the direction and supervision of Golf Course Superintendent, the assistant participates in the maintenance of the golf course and associated areas of the club that fall under the responsibility of the Golf Course Superintendent.
