Description

Are you interested in managing an award winning golf course located in an outdoor setting surrounded by Lake Cumberland?

We are looking for a golf course assistant superintendent that enjoys the outdoors, has knowledge and experience of the following: golf course maintenance and agronomic operations, budgeting and pesticide application programs, landscape maintenance and design, maintenance of golf equipment fleet including: small engine repair, hydraulics, and mower reel adjustment, irrigation repair and operation, recruiting and hiring of golf course maintenance staff.

We are currently seeking a Golf Course Assistant Superintendent to join and work with the Park’s Golf Maintenance Department. Job Duties will include:

• Assist Golf Course Superintendent in all phases and agronomic operations on the golf course
• Assist in developing long term plans, budgeting plans, and chemical programs
• Lead staff in projects and routine maintenance activities
• Irrigation repair, instillation, and application to turf
• Calibrate and operate the equipment necessary to apply chemicals and fertilizers

Probationary Period
