Golf Superintendent - Assistant jobs in Minneapolis, MN
Golf Superintendent - Assistant assists the Superintendent in the overall maintenance and care of the golf course, including turf/grass management, irrigation, and chemical applications (e.g., fertilizer, pesticides) to ensure quality playing conditions. Supervises personnel and participates in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths. Being a Golf Superintendent - Assistant ensures adherence to golf course maintenance budget and capital plans. May serve in the Superintendent's capacity during absence. Additionally, Golf Superintendent - Assistant may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a golf course superintendent. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of the team processes. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

The Maintenance Assistant performs essential upkeep and improvements to our facilities. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for details is essential for this role. You should have manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary to perform the work.
Perform minor fixes, install necessary appliances, perform carpentry tasks, dependable & punctual, effective communicator, ability to think on your feet and make decisions, inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems, report to Maintenance Manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention and in progress.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
General carpentry and building experience preferred and proven experience as a maintenance worker
High school diploma or equivalent required
