Golf Superintendent is responsible for overall maintenance and care of the golf course, including turf/grass management, irrigation, and chemical applications (e.g., fertilizer, pesticides) to ensure quality playing conditions. Oversees continued development of golf course during golf season to improve playing conditions and maintenance of course during off-season. Being a Golf Superintendent manage purchasing, replenishment, and inventory of all materials, supplies, and equipment used to maintain golf course. Liaises with the Head Golf Professional on any issues related to golf course operations and maintenance. Additionally, Golf Superintendent typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a golf course general manager. The Golf Superintendent manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Masek Golf Car Company is hiring an energetic and driven salesperson to assist in our Sales and Parts Departments. We currently share vehicle sales responsibilities across two veteran salespeople and parts sales through our Parts Manager, but we are growing enough to need an additional salesperson for golf cars and golf car parts. Common responsibilities include greeting customers, working sales deals in person, over the phone, and online, selling retail parts over the counter, updating our website with photos and listings, arranging the showroom and used car displays, and other tasks as necessary. Most of our employees stay with us for a long time, many with 10 years with us. We like to hire the right people and keep them happy for a long career! The wages listed below are starting wages based on experience, and with our regular opportunities for bonuses and raises, we hope to provide a place for you to make a long-lasting career!
We are looking to hire and begin on-the-job training as soon as possible, but we can be patient and flexible for the right candidate.
Wage:
$15.00 - $18.50/hour base, depending on experience, commission. Paid every two weeks. Commission on unit sales paid monthly. Additional incentives and bonus opportunities are available. Christmas bonus each year. Expected annual salary range after commissions/bonuses: $40,000 - $52,000/year or more.
Expected hours:
40 per week plus overtime as necessary (paid time-and-a-half). Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM. One Hour Lunch from 11:00 – 12:00 or 12:30-1:30. 20-minute paid break every two hours. Saturdays 9-3 on rotation, one or two Saturdays per month. Working Tuesday – Saturday can be arranged if preferable.
