  Ensures understanding of and compliance with all food safety, USDA, HACCP and Company policies, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• 
  Manages hourly production employee performance, on both an individual and a team basis.

• 
  Sets and tracks performance to targets, budgets and operating plans.

• 
  Tracks and monitors hourly staff attendance and administers constructive discipline in line with Company's discipline policy.

• 
  Conducts accident investigations as required, including making and implementing any recommendations for policy changes, operational impacts, or procedural changes.

• 
  Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Must have experience in a leadership role or demonstrated ability to function as an effective leader.

• Effective professional communication skills to both hourly and managerial personnel.
• This position would require daily operational discussions requiring the ability to communicate to team members of multiple languages basic English should be required with bilingual skills desired.
• Basic math skills, ability to effectively use calculator, stopwatch and spreadsheet data.
• Basic knowledge of scaling process and basic units of measure for weight.
• Effective decision-making ability and ability to prioritize and react to priority changes in rapidly changing environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook
• Basic computer skills including ability to effectively use email and basic Windows based applications.
