Government Compliance Manager plans and directs the government compliance function; provides corporate-wide focus for efforts relating to compliance with government procurement laws and regulations. Includes oversight responsibility for government contract compliance audit and training functions. Being a Government Compliance Manager establishes policy on a variety of procurement matters, including government accounting, government property and independent research and development issues. Develops and maintains the company's compliance risk management program to manage legal and regulatory compliance risks based on the Federal Sentencing Guidelines requirements and benchmarking research, facilitating the systematic assessment and management of compliance risks. Additionally, Government Compliance Manager ensures compliance with Sarbanes Oxley. Requires a master's/law degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Government Compliance Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. As a Key Account Manager, you should be organized, able to analyze sales performance metrics, have good negotiation skills and the ability to build and foster long-term relationships with customers.
This is a home-based position ideally located near a large airport and requires 50% travel per business needs. You will be assigned current customers, and be the expectation to develop new accounts to constantly grow the Military and Government business.
To meet and exceed our expectations, the successful candidate will bring a solid, in-depth, knowledge of the MP batteries, as well as already keen understanding of customer support skills to include working knowledge of Salesforece, shipping coordiantion and JDE.
