Job Responsibilities

• Creating print-ready art files for projects using Adobe Creative Suite and other design software
• Working with customers to design projects that meet their expectations
• Assisting with all steps of production of products to complete projects.
• Keeping the production area cleaned and organized; general cleaning of facility
• Operating printing and application equipment and selecting appropriate media and substrates for projects
• Maintaining inventory of printing supplies; alerting manager when supplies are low
• Prioritizing production process so that projects are completed in a timely manner
• Assisting with project flow by updating internal database as projects progress through stages of production

Position Description

Our graphic designer will work with Adobe Creative Suite and other design software to create print-ready artwork to meet project specifications. The ideal candidate needs to be have basic knowledge of design software and principals. We will train on specific projects. The designer may work on projects ranging from simple signs and banners to more complex jobs such as vehicle wraps.

The job also requires assisting with project production once print-ready artwork files are created. PECO does all ranges of printing from small projects such as business cards and brochures to large format signs, billboards, and trade show displays. The production assistant must be able to learn the printing techniques for each type of project and the steps to fulfilling orders.

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Basic graphic design skills. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite required.
• Must have the ability to learn printing software and how to operate other production equipment
• Strong work ethic and initiative. Must be willing and able to work independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to learn and practice quality printing techniques

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
