Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate should have experience in medical reception or related fields and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Duties:

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and update information in the system
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Handle billing and coding tasks as needed

Experience:

- Prior experience in a medical receptionist role or similar position
- Proficiency with medical scheduling software such as Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or Epic
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
