Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer develops user interfaces for websites and web-based applications. Translates design mockups and wireframes into code for website and web-based application UI. Being a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer designs prototypes; writes and tests code for new or existing applications. Identifies new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance site usability. Additionally, Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer supports backend integration and maintains graphic standards and branding throughout the UI. Has knowledge of commonly used languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. The Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Job Overview

    We are looking for a talented Voice User Interface Designer to join a growing team at a new Seed Series Startup on a part time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and refining voice user interfaces for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create engaging and user-friendly voice experiences.

    Technical Responsibilities

    • Design and develop voice user interfaces for various platforms
    • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define user requirements
    • Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to demonstrate voice interaction concepts
    • Write scripts and create dialogues for voice interactions
    • Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback
    • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in voice interface design

    Required Technical Skills

    • Proficiency in voice interface design tools such as Amazon Alexa Skills Kit, Google Actions, or similar platforms
    • Experience with speech recognition technology and natural language processing
    • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
    • Ability to create user personas and conduct user research
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Experience working in an Agile development environment
