Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer develops user interfaces for websites and web-based applications. Translates design mockups and wireframes into code for website and web-based application UI. Being a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer designs prototypes; writes and tests code for new or existing applications. Identifies new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance site usability. Additionally, Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer supports backend integration and maintains graphic standards and branding throughout the UI. Has knowledge of commonly used languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Applicant needs to be well spoken, friendly, and a people person. This is an evolving role with room to grow. Our goal is to initially have you assist with customer service, help with basic estimations, and implement a digital template/ CAD system within the business. With future growth, you will primarily focus on the digital template and CAD program. You will start by answering calls, meeting with customers to show them stone slabs, and reviewing details of their project. Experience in cabinet, counter top, interior design or architectural ends of construction would be welcome. Experience with CAD or similar software and programming would be a plus.
