Position: X-ray Mirror Grinding and Polishing Technician

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Onsite - Greenbelt, MD.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an entry-level X-ray Mirror Grinding and Polishing Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the precision grinding and polishing of X-ray mirrors to exact specifications. No advanced education or prior experience is required – we are looking for candidates with a strong aptitude for hands-on work, the ability to follow instructions and training, and a diligent work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the grinding and polishing of X-ray mirrors using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure the quality and accuracy of the finished products.
• Work closely with senior technicians and supervisors to learn and improve techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong aptitude for hands-on work and mechanical skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and training closely.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Trial Period:

If your progress is considered good in the first 6 months, your employment will be continued with opportunities for long term growth within the company.
