Grinding and Polishing Worker, Hand sets-up and operates automatic machines that cut, grind, or polish glass products such as glass tubes or glassware. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Grinding and Polishing Worker, Hand may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Grinding and Polishing Worker, Hand relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. - Must be willing and able to climb towers/structures and perform work at heights in excess of 200 feet with or without reasonable accommodation
- Previous industry recognized tower climbing certification(s) required
- Tower Rescue / TTT1 or TTT2 (preferred) First-Aid-CPR/RF/OSHA 10/Fiber Testing - OTDR
- Frequent travel out of town required, hotel and per diem provided
- Previous construction experience and or good mechanical aptitude preferred
- Minimum 6 months prior tower tech experience
- Potential for bonuses
- Pay range: $22 - $30 based on experience. Potential for rapid advancement after 90 day training period.
- Must possess valid driver's license (chauffer or CDL license plus DOT medical card) and have acceptable driving history
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
