Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the store manager in the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to the growth and success of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the store manager in managing the sales floor, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries, and addressing any concerns or issues.
• Supervise and mentor sales associates to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing a high level of customer service.
• Oversee the management of cash handling, including opening and closing procedures, and conducting cash counts.
• Collaborate with the store manager to create and implement sales strategies, promotions, and displays.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards for cleanliness and safety.
• Provide leadership and guidance to sales associates, and support the store manager in achieving sales goals and objectives.
• Possess a strong understanding of the store's products and services, and stay up-to-date on the latest promotions and trends.

Qualifications:

• Proven retail experience, preferably in a management role.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic math skills, including cash handling and inventory management.
• Multilingualism is an asset.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• A strong understanding of store management and operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.25 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
