The Grocery Stocker may also be responsible for new product displays. Responsible for adequately stocking grocery store shelves. Being a Grocery Stocker assists customers in finding requested grocery items or with questions regarding pricing. Prices new items and ensures that price changes are carried out appropriately. In addition, Grocery Stocker handles all grocery products in a safe, sanitary manner. Maintains cleanliness and neatness. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Grocery Stocker may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
