About Us:

Gateway Grocery & Liquor is a locally owned and operated convenience store committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products to the Keystone community. We are located in Keystone, next to the Haywood Cafe.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our store. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking individual with excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to maintaining a well-stocked and clean store.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Order, receive, and organize inventory to ensure the store has everything it needs to sell on a weekly basis.
• Shelf Stocking: Stock shelves with products in a neat and organized manner.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and processing transactions at the register.
• Cash Handling: Operate the point-of-sale system, handle cash and credit card payments accurately, and reconcile daily sales.
• Employee Management: Communicate with other staff members to ensure the store remains stocked and operational.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe store environment.

Qualifications:

• Strong physical stamina to handle our heavy inventory and perform other physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Reliable and trustworthy, with a commitment to maintaining a consistent work schedule.
• Hardworking and self-motivated.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to use a personal vehicle for weekly inventory pickups in Silverthorne. Mileage & gas will be reimbursed
• Must be 21 or older
• No prior retail experience necessary

Schedule:

• 5 Days per week, 8 hours per day, 8am-4pm
• Monday-Friday or Wednesday-Sunday, depending on applicants’ preference

Compensation:

• $30/Hr
• $250/Month Health Care Reimbursement
• 3 Weeks PTO (Must be used in non-winter months (May-October)
• $2,500 end of winter Bonus (Paid on May 1)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
