Our busy grocery store is seeking a dynamic and experienced manager to oversee the daily operations of our staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to effectively manage inventory, manage employees, delegate tasks, make quick decisions, and deal with occasional crises. We're seeking individuals who have experience working in the grocery business

Responsibilities:

• Manage the inventory of goods in the store.
• Enter data into a computer.
• Update the status of goods in the store's inventory.
• Organize goods in storage areas according to the shelf life of each item.
• Arrange goods on shelves to maximize sales.
• Order goods such as fruits, vegetables, meats, and other goods to replenish inventory levels.
• Make sure that the goods that are displayed or stored on store shelves are appealing to customers.
• Operate a Point of Sale System.
• Assist with hiring employees.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Stand for duration of shift.
• Drive a forklift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Retail management: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
