Description:

This position assumes responsibility for and responds to assigned departmental maintenance needs. Maintains the appearance of the facility grounds including lawns, shrubs, plant beds, parking lots, entrances, etc. Assists in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the hospital in good repair. Other duties may include electrical work, mechanical repairs and other duties relating to maintenance.

• Performs maintenance on equipment and systems as required.
• Performs manual duties are requested
• Performs general repairs and mechanic duties.
• Performs daily cleaning of assigned areas.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent of education and experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
