Group Branch Manager manages the financial and service performance of a defined group of retail branches in a geographic area. Establishes the strategy, specific goals, and performance levels required for each branch to meet the organizational objectives for the region. Being a Group Branch Manager monitors and analyzes financial and customer activity to understand needs, identify issues, and provide the tools and resources needed to achieve goals. Leads business development and promotional activities in the area and coaches branch managers in tactics to build customer relationships, increase sales, and enhance the bank's presence in the community. Additionally, Group Branch Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Group Branch Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Group Branch Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Maintain branch sales performance expectations
    • Assist in employee development through role plays and observation - implement IBC Mission
    • Establish and meet individual goals
    • Provide customer service
    • Organize blitzing, presentations and call campaigns
    • Maintain customer portfolio
    • Provide branch numbers at manager meetings
    • Facilitate branch meeting and / or huddles
    • Assist with teller supervisor duties - overrides (teller and sales overrides, ending day, card wizard
    • Understand and meet compliance expectations (exceptions, branch checklists)
    • Assist in hiring and termination process
    • Assist with trainings
    • Maintain and supervise time and attendance
    • Other duties as assigned

    This is an optional benefit that allow employees to set aside up to $5000 per year for childcare expenses through a pre-tax payroll deduction.

    401K

    The 401K savings program allows employees to save between 1-15% of their annual income in the bank's 401K plan.

    Eligibility : Eligible after first day of the year following employment date.

    Profit Sharing

    Contingent on the bank's profitability, employees are given contributions based on their pay and years of service.

    Tuition Assistance Program

    Offered to full-time and part-time employees attending an accredited institution of higher learning. This program offers reimbursement for tuition for courses related to the financial banking industry.

    Eligibility : After six months of employment.

    Computer Assistance Purchase Program

    All employees are offered the opportunity to purchase a computer through this program. The cost will be payroll deducted from their paycheck.

    Eligibility : After one year of employment.

    Vacation

    Vacation is offered to all full-time and part-time employees who work more than 20 hours per week.

    Eligibility : Depending on hire date, after initial probation.

    Sick Leave

    Sick Leave accumulates on a monthly basis at a rate of one day per month worked for full-time employees.
