Summary:
The Group Sales manager would be responsible for managing all group sales aspects within Brian Head Resort, Brian Head Lodge, and Mountain View Lodge. Group sales are year-round and consist of but are not limited to winter activities (lift tickets, rentals, lessons, tubing) and summer activities (weddings, family reunions, corporate events/retreats, local county events, SUU events/sporting teams).
Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of group sales from lead capture, development of quotes, contracting, booking, contract management, collection of payments, and fulfillment of guest services including all group sales functions and products.
Create and maintain a group sales database with past, current, and future potential group leads.
Accurately track group product sales. Forecast by week, month, and year.
Manage and facilitate all group lift tickets, rentals, F&B needs, facility fees, and lodging accommodations.
Function as the main point of communication between the Resort and group leaders.
Communicate any incoming groups with all key department managers who would play a role in fulfilling group needs.
Meet group leaders upon arrival to ensure that all group needs are met with satisfaction and quality customer service. Perform general office duties required in a professional office setting.
Implement creative ways to increase sales and productivity.
Work closely with and communicate effectively with all other department leaders while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
Maintain a master calendar with all group functions and events.
Resolve complaints and problems related to groups’ satisfaction while protecting the company’s interest.
Other Responsibilities:
Host and staff group functions as required
Ski or Snowboard with groups/clients as needed
Attend consumer ski shows and or group sales trade shows as requested by the Sales Director.

Job Qualifications:
3 years of prior ski area experience and knowledge
College degree or equivalent
Must meet criminal background standards
Must be able to work in the United States
Ability to handle confidential information in addition to completion of a Non-Disclosure of Confidentiality
Must be proficient in using Google Workspace
Must have prior sales experience
Ability to maintain scheduled work commitments and meet regular deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent conflict resolution skills
Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
Often required to use the computer and work in a standard office environment (typing, phone usage, filing, traditional office equipment, etc.).
Must have mobility to efficiently complete tasks such as lifting objects weighing 10 to 20 lbs.
The work environment is 80% indoors and 20% outdoors and requires the ability to work in both conditions.
Expected Work Hours:
Full-Time Year-Round
40hrs per week
Must be able to work weekends, some holidays, and occasional evenings depending on group needs.
