Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bindery Operator to join our dynamic team for 1st shift! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the post-printing process, ensuring that printed materials are finished to the highest quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a passion for the printing industry.This position offers a 4 day work week!
Job Duties include but not limited to:
o Operate bindery equipment, such as cutters, collators, folders, and stitchers
o Set up and adjust machines properly to ensure quality and consistency
o Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot issues as they arise
o Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
o Ensure materials are correctly assembled and bound according to specifications
o Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
o Lift up to 50lbs and stand for duration of shift
REQUIRMENTS:
o High school diploma or equivalent
o Prior experience operating bindery equipment preferred
o Ability to read and interpret job tickets and specifications
o Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
o Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues
o Aptitude for mechanical and technical work
o Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
o Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
o Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods of time
o Operate bindery equipment, such as cutters, collators, folders, and stitchers
o Set up and adjust machines properly to ensure quality and consistency
o Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
