Hand Compositor/Typesetters jobs in Durham, NC
Hand Compositor/Typesetters sets type by hand and machine. Assembles type and cuts in galley for printing articles, headings, and other printed matter. Being a Hand Compositor/Typesetters determines type size, style, and compositional pattern from work order. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hand Compositor/Typesetters may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

The Raleigh Hand to Shoulder Center is seeking an OT or PT for a full time/part time position on our therapy team. The practice is physician owned providing exceptional care for patients of all ages with hand to shoulder diagnoses. Our physician team consists of six board certified orthopedists, five with added qualifications of hand surgery. Our therapy team includes four CHT/OTs and a PT. An OT or PT with experience performing shoulder , elbow and hand evaluations as well as developing and administering quality UE conservative and post-op therapy is desired. Applicant must be able to multi-task, problem solve, have excellent communication skills as well as have a working knowledge of EMR.
