GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under the direction of the Count Room Supervisor – Video Gaming Operations, is responsible for the counting and logging of all monies and vouchers received in the count room.
HOURS ARE 6AM-APPROXIMATELY 2PM- MONDAY, THURSDAY & SATURDAY (3 DAYS)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Receive monies from drop crew personnel and acknowledge receipt of cash boxes.
2. Remove money and vouchers from containers and prepare same for physical count.
3. Record count via designated reconciliation forms and perform cursory review of currency.
4. Bundle currency and vouchers and assist in the reconciliation of same.
5. Assist in the preparation of securing money in vault and deposit requirements.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TRAINING
Must have the ability to properly operate count room equipment; money handling experience a plus.
ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or GED and experience in the retail industry or related field where cash handling was performed.
Must be approved for and maintain a valid Video Lottery Gaming Employee Non-Key license issued by the New York State Gaming Commission.
