Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Athletic Trainer to join our team educating and training elite middle school athletes during our school day. The ideal candidate will have expertise in young athlete body mechanics, health coaching, personal training, physiology, anatomy, and nutrition to help our student athletes achieve their fitness goals.
Duties:
- Conduct baseline performance assessments
- Group training for max 30 athletes on foundational warmup, speed & agility drills, and strength & conditioning training
- Develop personalized workout plans based on athletes' goals and abilities
- Instruct and demonstrate exercises, ensuring proper form and technique
- Provide ongoing motivation and support to keep athletes engaged and accountable
- Monitor athletes' progress and adjust workout plans as needed
- Educate athletes on the importance of nutrition and overall wellness
- Input performance test results & personalized workouts into online platform for parent & athlete access
- Communication with parents about athlete progress & individual needs
Qualifications:
- Certification in personal training or related field
- Strong knowledge of body mechanics, health coaching, physiology, anatomy, and nutrition
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes to reach their fitness goals
- Prior experience in personal training is preferred but not required
