Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Rochester, NY

Shift Schedule: D/E/N 3x12

Blended Rate: $2880/WK

Stipend: $1316/WK

Responsibilities:

• Assessing and triaging patients quickly and accurately upon arrival in the Emergency Room.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients.
• Administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
• Responding promptly to emergency situations, including providing CPR and other life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and follow-up care.
• Assisting with minor procedures and wound care as necessary.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records, including charting and documentation of interventions.
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care.
• Adhering to all hospital policies, procedures, and infection control protocols.
• Participating in ongoing professional development activities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an emergency room or critical care setting.
• BLS, ACLS, certifications required.
