Being a Head Nurse ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training. May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients. Additionally, Head Nurse requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, scheduling, and budgeting
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for event services and products
- Coordinate event setup, including arranging seating, audiovisual equipment, and decorations
- Oversee event operations during the actual event to ensure smooth execution
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
Skills:
- Experience cold calling potential families to generate enrollment leads following community events.
- Familiarity with, or willingness to become familiar with, nine county service areas.
- Recruiting age and income eligible expectant mother, and children for the Early Head Start/Head Start program.
