Maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Duties
- Implement and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures
- Assist the surgical team with patient positioning and preparation
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and handle any issues that arise during surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Previous experience in an Operating Room setting preferred
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding standards
- Proficiency in airway management and aseptic techniques
- Ability to provide exceptional patient care under pressure
- Strong triage skills and the ability to conduct physical examinations
- Familiarity with MDS documentation and memory care practices
