The Head of Nursing manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. We are actively seeking a qualified Program Director who will oversee the daily operations and administration of our Head Start program. The candidate will be experienced in the field of Early Childhood Development and general management. The Program Director’s responsibilities include supervising recruitment of Head Start staff, Head Start property maintenance, marketing and communication, financial management, and communication with stakeholders. As a minimum requirement, the Head Start Program Director must have a baccalaureate degree and experience in supervision of staff, fiscal management, and administration. This position requires demonstrated skills and abilities in a management capacity relevant to human services program management. Courses in public administration to include, budgeting, personnel, and supervision are helpful.
