Head Teller ensures the daily operational activities of the teller line are executed with accuracy and fulfill required service standards. Processes and records routine transactions, handles complex or unusual customer transactions, and answers more complex customer inquiries. Being a Head Teller depending on policy, may authorize certain transactions. Assists with teller onboarding, training, and guidance. Additionally, Head Teller is responsible for vault oversight and the daily auditing, reporting, and balancing processes. Oversees each teller's daily reconciliation and assists if needed. Ensures that tellers comply with all operating, regulatory, and security policies and procedures. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Head Teller supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Head Teller typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, provides quality customer service by professionally, accurately, and efficiently processing various transactions while maintaining a helpful and friendly attitude.
Listens to the customer to identify customers' banking needs and works to strengthen their relationship with the bank through cross-selling, referring, and following through with problem resolution.
This position calls for working at multiple locations, having no specific home branch.

TELLER OPERATIONS
1. Ability to work accurately and deal with job pressure and deadlines.

5. Perform as a team member in allocating and coordinating the workflow.

7. May be involved in ordering, receiving, verifying, and distributing cash.

9. Open and close vault.
10. Promote the bank's products and services; consistently cross-sells bank products at every opportunity.
11. Makes concentrated effort to solve customer problems and identifying and responding to customer's needs effectively.
12. Follow teller over / short policy.
13. Process daily work through branch capture.
14. Send transport monitor to ITI.
15. Process adjustments in branch capture as needed.
16. Consistently meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
17. Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customer business confidential.
19. Assist Teller Operations Department with all department duties and special projects.
