People, Incorporated is a human service Agency serving the Southcoast community, including the Greater Fall River, New Bedford, and Taunton areas. As a partnership of specialized, integrated programs, we provide unique opportunities to people with life challenges. The Human Resources Department is looking for an energetic, personable and motivated Trainer. The trainer will is responsible for all Agency trainings. This position requires the employee to conduct at least two Crisis Prevention Response and Restrain trainings per month.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist with new staff orientation and with trainings Agency wide including evening and weekends as necessary.
• Train new and existing employees in the Agency’s CPRR curriculum.
• Review the employee expectations for participation in Agency trainings at the beginning of training.

• Update eAcademy with training attendance at the end of each session.
• Follow up with Employee Relations on any class participant attendance or behavioral concerns not resolved during training.
• Update appropriate tracking accounts with employees who have completed the training.
• Maintain current CPRR Trainer certification at all times.

QUALIFICATION

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in training or Human Service experience is required.
• Knowledge of computerized systems including database applications and reporting.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
• Skill in organizing tasks, high attention to detail and communicating information.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work flexible
• A qualifying criminal background check, driving record and a valid driver’s license required.
